We sometimes write while were on tour but it's not the best place to write, creative ideas come at random times so when I get a idea I save it into my phone.

BURY THE KINGS

The name was a struggle for us, but the “Buried Kings” was a lyric in a Wovenwar song “Father/Son” and we really felt it suited what we were looking for.

 I went to Japan for a holiday and I couldn't relax, my trip ended up being a month-long photography excursion and I took the photo in Japan.

Yellow is the theme for our album cover, so we used the reaper and we thought it would be cool to put a raincoat on him.

Without a doubt it would have to be Unify Music Gathering in Tarwin Lower. Everything about that music festival is everything we love about music festivals. Good vibes, good people, incredible bands. What more could you want!

 We use Fender guitars and bass guitars when we record. When we play live we use a mix of insturments.

First the drum beat was written, then the guitar and then the vocals were added on top, we all wrote and recorded separately.

That’s a tough one, I guess Glastonbury would be a good answer, but there’s plenty of great festivals out there. If we’re talking Australia the I think Unify gathering would be a good time, we would be comfortable there!

 Touring with the Rolling Stones as pretty big originally I did 8 shows with those guys, I went home a week later I got another call saying we want you to come out and do four more shows.

 We had spent three albums working with labels, we wanted to experiment with make an album and putting it out ourselves, without interruption from a third party.

 Our label found this Hungarian guy that did the video clip for us, he came up with the idea and we had a little bit of input we got to decide which song we used for the video, he has also done video clips for other metal bands.
