Twinmusix talk with Tapestry about their new album, Australian your and more

Twinmusix chat with Ben From Tapestry about there tour, new Album and more

What can fans expect from your tour with Polaris?

We bring a big ambience to our sound, it's not that heavy but it's a bit emotional.

What can fans expect from your new album "Ghost of Me"?

It's a bit different from our first EP, on this album we tried to push our self musically and explore new genres of music, there's also lot of melodic leaves and big choruses.

How did you come up with your album cover for "Ghost of Me"?

“Our EP art work resembles the person the EP was almost entirely written about. Amongst all the dark in my life, this person was my white rose. A white rose represents sympathy, innocence, spirituality and is often considered the symbol of “true love”, in which I guess I thought I felt.

In the art work the rose is starting to die and that relates to every connection I have with this person dying and I guess through a lot of my own fault. The art work doesn’t have a big relation to the title but if I had to explain it; the art work would be who this person was and the title is what they became.”

What was your writing process for "Ghost of Me"?

Darcey our guitarist came up to us with a riff or certain part, then we just jammed on it from there, then we took it into the studio and did a demo.

Can you tell us about your stage here?

We use Fender guitars and bass guitars when we record. When we play live we use a mix of insturments.

How did you come up with your band name?

We just saw the name tapestry and thought that could be cool and just went with it.

What inspired you to get into music?

My parents are both musicians, so I have grown up with music.

What's your favourite gig you have ever been to?

I think it has to be Trophy Eyes, the whole crowd was singing along it was super special.

What bands inspired YouTo play?

Being as an ocean and Counter parts.

If you could play any festival which would you choose and why?

UNIFY Festival because it always feels like home every time we go there.

Anything else you want to announce to your fans?

Our new EP is coming out soon.
