Twinmusix Chat With Mikee From Sikth About Their Australian Tour And More

What can fans expect from your Australian tour?

We are hopefully going to play a few songs from "The Future In His Eyes". We are also excited to play Australia so our fans can see us play live.

What gear do you use on stage compared to the gear you use in the studio?

4 by 12 Diesel riggs, blackmachine guitar, PRS guitar, Manson bass and Shure microphones.

What was your writing and recording process for "The Future In His Eyes"?

First the drum beat was written, then the guitar and then the vocals were added on top, we all wrote and recorded separately.

How did you come up with your album cover for "The Future In His Eyes"?

My mate Niece Myers meet us in L.A and did our album cover.

Do you think Primal Rock Rebellion will record anything new?

I hope they would but I doubt it AJ's always quite busy and I'm always doing voice overs, except I would love to do something again.

If you could have any band play one of your songs which band which song and in your style or theirs?

Primus doing Our song "How May I Help You" in their style.

Can you tell us a story from one of your tours?

We were doing loadouts of our equipment, I use to smoke back in the day, I used to have my dreads all over my face, all of a sudden I slip into the air and landed with one foot to the front and one foot to the side,  it turned out I had slipped on a banana peel.

You broke up and re-formed what made you want to reform your band?

You start to get a bit older and appreciate what you had, we thought we would give it another go, if it was fun we would stay, if not we would leave.

How did you come up with your video for "Philistine Philosophies"?

I got this animator I know who did the characters and animation, I directed the video.

Anything else you want to announce to your fans?

Come and see you at our Australian shows.
