TM - Hi this is Amelia and Elizabeth from Twinmusix and we are here with WereWolves. Thank you for having this interview with us today.
WW - Thank You.
TM - How did fans respond to your new album "The Ugliest of All"?
WW - It is good, every album is almost the same as the previous alnum, but a little bit different. Most of the responses that we have got have been pretty good. It has been out for a couple of weeks now.
TM - What was your writing and recording process for your new album "The Ugliest of All"?
WW - This is our sixth album and we pretty much do the same thing every time. I will write a bunch of songs and give them to Dave the drummer and he might suggest parts to get sped up or slow down. We give everything to Sam our singer and he goes into the studio and records the vocals. It has been good so far and we are comfortable with how each other operates.
TM - How did you come up with your Album cover for "The Ugliest of All"?
WW - We have been using the same guy since our first album, his name is Mitchell. He is good at designing and drawing and doing horrible artwork, as our music and subject matter is pretty horrible. This time he has outdone himself with a bunch of pigs eating a person. That is quite horrible and there is some fine detail in the people, if you go looking for it.
TM - How did you come up with your video for "I Want to Be Offended"?
WW - Our friend Rob has done a few videos for us in the past. We have been working with him for a few years now and he is really focused and gets things done. We wanted to do something fairly simple and it was Rob's idea to put a narrative in the video. Rob and Sam worked on most of the video and then the rest of us recorded our parts. Then he works his magic and makes it into a comedic horrible masterpiece.
TM - What up coming tours do you have?
WW - In January we are touring with "Abbath", we are playing Sydney Brisbane and Melbourne with his band and after that we might do a few shows here or there.
TM - Who was the first band or Artist you saw live and can you tell us a story?
WW - I think the first concert I went to was Pantera in the 90s. I was a child and it was incredible. I think I was an impressionable child ,and I was completely Blown Away by it.
TM - If you could have any band play one of your songs what band would it be what song would it be and would it be in your style or their style?
WW - "Marduk" and "Hate Eternal" which are both incredibly noisy bands. If either of those bands played one of our songs, it wouldn't be too far removed from what they do; it would be special.
TM - If You could make a festival who would be your headliners?
WW - "Marduk" and "Hate Eternal" because they are some of my favourite bands. Or all my favourite bands from when I was a teenager there could be "Guns and Roses" in there or "Cannibal Corpse".
TM - Is there anything else you want to say to your fans?
