Last night Voivod played at Crowbar in Sydney Australia to a packed venue. Voivod fans were ready to rock with their favorite band Voiced for their 35th anniversary show and played with with support acts "Carbon Black", "Head In A Jar" and "Contrive".

The curtains were shut and Voivod came on stage, when the curtains opened the crowd cheered and cheered and Voivid were ready to play their first song of the night "Post Society". Denis said "Hello Sydney, I know there are people been waiting all their life to see this show. We are really happy to be here as you know we are celebrating 35 years in the making, so my question is "do you want to celebrate with us" as the crowd cheers then Denis says alright this is a old classic "ravenous medicine" and the crowd go wild.
Denis says to the crowd "As you may know by now we have a new album out called awake do you guys like it" and the crowd said yeh and claps Denis then says " right this is the opening track "Obsolete Beings" and the crowd gose crazy and stars jumping around the mosh pit.
Voivid played some more hits for the night "The Prow", "Black Guards", "Fall" and "Always Moving" the crowd were head banging and jumping along to every song.
SPEECH AT 4 MINUTES 17 SECONDS
Voivod entertained the audience by talking to them and brought out an Australian flag on stage with a Voivod logo on It and wear it like a cape and says "I could wear it this way" and put it on the front of himself "or do a Batman kind of thing" and wears it like a cape. I can turn it the other way and look like I am doing a burger or something cooking thank you very much" and the crowd laughs.
Voivod walked off stage and the crowd started chanting one more song. Voivod came back on stage for one more song and the crowd started chanting 10 more songs and Denis Bélanger said " Its was a great journey here it was so great to be Australian and we will come back for sure not in 35 years though very soon thank you very much Sydney" and played "Astronomy Domine" and the crowd were going crazy Voivod walked off stage Denis came to the front row and shook hands to say Thank You.
Voivod put on an amazing show and wowed the audience, it was amazing to see their performance in Sydney for the first time in nineteen years.
