THY ART IS MURDER REVIEW
 

Thy Art Is Murder, Great American Ghost, Brand Of Sacrifice and Lune played at the Metro theatre on Friday night and we got thrown into an epic metal show full of deep guitar riffs and solid bass lines.
 

 

The night kicked off with Lune a Modern Metalcore band from Melbourne. We welcomed Nathaniel Smith on vocals, Krys Smith on guitar, Harrison Mills on drums and David Freeland on bass to the stage and we were psyched for the opening act. Lune kicked off their set with "Progeny, Letting go and Memory Replays" from the Album "The Change Around Us" and the impressive vocal ranges, brutal bass lines and crushing Drum beats hit our ears and made the crowd headbang. As they continued their set with "Ghost" from their EP "Ghost",  and "Left behind" From their Album "The Change Around Us" the blistering rhythms made you want to mosh and the raw instruments and powerful vocals flowed through the room. As you looked into the crowd the fans neild down in a line and head banged in unison and it was an incredible site to see. Lune got the fans moving with their last song of the night "Manipulator" off their EP "Ghost" and we were waiting in anticipation for more epic bands to come.

Great American Ghost is a metalcore band and they were formed in Boston and they were next to hit the stage. As a roar of excitement was let out vocalist Ethan Harrison, guitarist Niko Gasparrini, guitarist Grayson Stewart, and bassist Anthony Laur walked on stage and a blistering burst of energy spread through the room.
 

Great American Ghost kicked off their set with "Hymn of Decay, Altar of Snakes and Lost In The Outline" the heart-wrenching choruses, Powerful Drums and bass lines filled the room with elegantly dark tones. The Incredible riff masters kept pounding away, the band delivered "Scorched Earth, Kerosene and Kingmaker" and the twisted melodies, sizzling Guitar riffs and Rock solid Bass lines hooked you in. The singer Ethan Harrison interacted with the crowd, he got on the barricade to sing with his fans, then he proceeded to crowd surf while singing, which was an epic sight to see. The Great American Ghost finished off their set with "Forsaken", the frantic energy rubbed off on the crowd and we couldn't wait to see the next act.

Brand Of Sacrifice is a Canadian deathcore band from Toronto, with members Kyle Anderson on Vocals, Liam Beeson on rhythm guitar, Andrew Kim on bass, Michael Leo Valeri on lead guitar and Chason Westmoreland on drums and they hit the metros stage on friday night.
 

Brand Of Sacrifice kicked off their set with "Dawn, Demon King and Lifeblood" and the punishing breakdowns, mad guitar riffs and harsh vocal tones were bouncing off the walls. They continued blasting their songs "Altered Eyes, Exodus and Purge" and Kyle Anderson's vocal range was on full display and was simply insane. They continued with "Ruin" and "Millennium" and the heavy songs with varying intensity and fast breakdowns showed us what Brand Of Sacrifice is made of. As they finished off their set with "Eclipse" The full agility of this band set off fireworks in our souls and it pumped us up for the main act.

Thy Art Is Murder kicked off their set with "Destroyer of Dreams" and it brought a spectacular atmosphere to the venue as the band delivered their thrilling seamlessly integrated melodies with gripping choruses and deathcore riffs.
 

Thy Art Is Murder continued their exceptional performance with Bangers "Blood Throne, Death Squad Anthem, Make America Hate Again and Join Me in Armageddon" and the chaotic breakdowns and killer punchy and meaty bass lines filled our souls with deathcore.

As they continued blasting out their songs "Holy War, The Purest Strain of Hate, Godlike and Keres", the guitar driven madness, over the edge drumming and Crushing Vocals made us want more. 

Thy Art Is Murder finished off their set with "Everything Unwanted, Reign of Darkness and Puppet Master" and the heavy and hard hitting drum beats, brutal guitar riffs, and diverse Rythym arrangements hit us with a ton of metal.
 

Last night we got delivered the intense creativity of Thy Art Is Murder and all the technical twists and turns kept the music interesting and alive. Thy Art Is Murder knocked this off the ricta scale and we were star struck by this death metal performance.
