THE HORRORS REVIEW

G.U.N and THE HORRORS played at the Manning Bar on Saturday night and the night was electrifying.

G.U.N. brought a surge of gritty, no-frills energy and they, turned Sydney into something far louder, sweatier, and more alive than anyone expected. From the moment the band stepped on stage, there was no easing in. They launched straight into a tight, punchy opener that set the tone and brought big riffs, sharp hooks, and a crowd that quickly shook off any early restraint. The vocals were in commanding and cut through the venue confidence that only comes with pure fire.

Next up were the one and only THE HORRORS and from the moment they walked on stage, the atmosphere was electric, and the crazy light show lit up the venue. The first waves of riffs rolled in, as the horrors kicked off their set with "The Silence That Remains, Three Decades and Mirror's Image" and suddenly it wasn’t just a show anymore, felt like being pulled into their world.

The set continued with "Silent Sister, The Feeling Is Gone and Sea Within a Sea" and Faris Badwan brought a cool, intense vibe as he locked into the music. His voice carried every note with perfect harmony and you could feel the crowds excitement as they were singing along and soaking it in.

The set continued with "Endless Blue, Still Life and More Than Life" and John guitar work was incredible. The way the guitar lines shimmered and exploded through the venue and it was unreal. The rhythm sections pumped through the venue as Rhys Webb incredible bass guitar and kept everything grounded and kept the crowd singing to the beat.

Jordans driving drum beats kept us on our toes as the set continued with "Ghost, LA Runaway and Who Can Say" and you could feel that you could feel the beats in your chest, and the beats made the audience sway.

As the set came to a close with "Lotus Eater, Scarlet Fields and Something to Remember Me By" every chord felt amplified and it didn’t just perform an epic set. They delivered a masterclass in energy, musicianship, and pure attitude.
