Twinmusix talk to James from Tesseract about their Australian tour and more
What can fans expect from your Australian tour?
They can expect a set with a range of music from our back catalogue, we will also be playing some of our new songs. We are also bringing out our friends "Circles" so we can't wait to chill with them.
How do you pick what songs you are going to play on tour ?
We use a combination of what we know is going to work well live and songs that we find fun to play.
What was your writing and recording process for your new album Sonder?
It was quite an organic process compared to previous records. Our guitar player is the predominant songwriter, he is kind of The Hub of everything, we write our own demos which we email around to each other.
How did you come up with your Album cover for Sonder?
Amos our bass player came up with our album cover.
What gear do you use on stage compared to into the studio?
Kemper profiler, read Horizon Precision Drive pedal, Ibnaz, Ibanez custom guitar, Tama drum kit.
How did you come up with your new music video for king?
Dan came up with the concept the videographers developed it and came up with a cinematic video.
If you could have any band play one of your songs which band would it be which song and in your style or theirs?
Massive attack play one of our songs in their style.
