Twinmusix chat to Statues about there new album and more

 How have fans responded to your new album no grave, no burial?

 positively it's been more of a slow grow, we have a new vocalist and a new drama as of a few years ago, this is the first record they have been on, this time we decided to go in a different musical Direction.

 how did you come up with your video clip for Defiance?

We needed a call option to show off what we did live, the concept behind that video is we love doing live shows, we wanted to show the energy that we had on stage.

 what was your music writing process?

 I started writing a couple of Tunes for the record and the rest of the band helped, we did our recording without bass player Matt he also mix the album. Alex wrote the lyrics.

If you could have any band play one of your songs which band would which song and in your style or theirs?

 Rage Against the Machine.

 what made you want to take a different direction in your new album?

 I guess the lineup change was a pretty significant thing for us, we naturally went back to our old style of music.

 if you could play any music festival, which would you choose and why?

 I think they will play at like and because it's so huge, it would be awesome to play.

 Do you have any crazy fan stories?

 someone had set up an Instagram account that was called Scott k is ok, I was tagged in a post from this Instagram account, they were making all these random posts about me with my photos, it went on for about 6 weeks so I messaged him and said this is hilarious who are you, it turned out to be a 16-year-old fan from Melbourne.

Is there anything else you want to announce to your fans?

 pursue what you're interested in at all times, thanks for caring about what we do on any level.
