TM - Hi, this is Amelia and Elizabeth from twinmusix, and we are here with Jet from Speedball. Thank you for having this interview with us today.

JET - Thank You,

TM - What can fans expect from your new album?

JET - Fast, short and punchy songs that you want to mosh to.

TM - What was your writing and recording process?

JET - We were originally going to release a 12 track album through a label that has now become defunct.

Since the delay of COVID and the label falling apart, we decided while on the hunt for a new label that we would put out another 5 track Ep.

I wrote 4 songs over one weekend and co-wrote another with fellow bandmate Aaron Vella.

I recorded the guitars, vocals and bass in a home studio in Mollymook with Ben Heggie producing.

We are currently working out where we are going to record the drums, as we all live in different parts of the world with different time zones.

TM - What can fans expect from your upcoming show with Hidden Intent and Temtris?

JET -
Circle pits and George Moshington to make a return.

TM - What is your favourite memory with your fans?

JET -
In the Philippines, one of the baggage handlers hit us up for photos, and it was heartwarming.

TM - If you could have any band play one of your songs, what band would it be, what song would it be, and would it be in your style or their style?

JET - I would ask Ugly Kid Joe, King’s X or Suicidal Tendencies to play “Go To Hell” and all in their styles.

TM - What was your first band or artist you saw live, can you tell us a story?

JET - I think the first band that I recall seeing live was The Beastie Boys and Helmet, on tour in Wollongong.

TM - Did they influence you to play live?

JET - It did, after seeing this crazy show, I was like, I am going to have to move to Sydney from Ulladulla to where all the action is.

TM - Who is your favourite band that you have seen live, Can you tell us a story?

JET - I saw “Luicidal” in Las Vegas and after having a chat with Louiche Mayorga at the show, I ended up having a jam with him at the Punk Rock Museum the very next day.

TM - If you could play at any festival, what festival would you play?

JET - Waken Open Air, Rebellion Fest, Punk Rock Bowling, Hellfest and Obscene Extreme, any of these festivals would be fantastic.

TM - What is the best tourist attraction, you have seen on tour?

JET - It Is a tie between Japan with the Godzilla head in Shinjuku or the temples in Bangkok.

TM - How was it touring with D.R.I.?

JET -
Due to the logistics of this tour, we only got to hang out briefly in Melbourne, and they are super chill.

TM - Is there anything else you want to say to your fans?

JET -
Thank you for your ongoing support and patience. We don’t take any of you for granted and we look forward to seeing you soon.

TM - Thank You for having this interview with us today.
