Twinmusix got to speak to Bobby from  Signs of the Swarm.

TM - Hi this is Amelia and Elizabeth from Twinmusix and we are here with Bobby Crow from Signs of the Swarm, thank you for having this interview with us today we appreciate it.

BC - Thank you.

TM - What can fans expect from your Australian tour?

BC - It has been a long time since we have been to Australia and we have definitely done a lot in that time. I think we have released two albums, so fans can expect new songs and a lot of high energy. We are coming to have a good time.

TM - What can fans expect from your setlist?

BC - Fans can expect some songs from our new record and hopefully some hits.

TM - What's your favourite song to play live?

BC - I like most of them to be honest but in the last couple of years "Amongst the Low & Empty" has been a stand out. The room seems to go off when it comes to that song. That has become one of the ones that we have to play now.

TM - What can fans expect from your European and UK tour?

BC - It is our second time there this year and we are spending a lot of time in the UK. Out of all the places on that side of the world I really enjoyed the UK because it is the most similar to home.

TM - How did fans respond to your new album "To Rid Myself of Truth"?

BC - People seem to like it we have a song called "Natural Selection" and the reason we brought it out first is because we really like it. We started playing it live and we ended up redoing the music video for it because we didn't like the original one. We ended up bringing out the song last year and it seems to be the song that people have grabbed onto and it is one of my favourite songs from the album.

TM - What was your writing and recording process for "To Rid Myself of Truth"?

BC - This is our sixth album in the past nine or ten years. We stay pretty busy on the road and it can be difficult to find the time in between tours to sit and write stuff. We try and block out a period of time to go into the studio and hammer in as much writing as we can between tours. I do a lot of drumming at my house. I also write a lot of songs for the band and then we send songs back and forth. We do a lot of facetime but we don't fully come together until we are in the studio. This time we spent about a month and a half in the studio fully going at it and it is alot of fun.

TM - If you could have any band play one of your songs what band would it be, what song would it be and would it be in your style or their style?

BC - I am a huge fan of Deftones, I would love to see what they would do to our songs "Forcing to Forget". I am also a big fan of heavy music but I am trying to think of something a bit out of the box.

TM - Who was the first band or Artist you saw live and can you tell us a story?

BC - "Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace and Seether" and I think I was around seven or eight years old. That was the first huge concert I went to. I think it kicked off my love for all of this and I was wearing a Korn t-shirt and a studded belt. Shortly after that I went to my first festival and saw Korn, Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold and Static-X and that is what sent me down the path of metal music.

TM - Is there anything else you want to say to your fans?

BC - Thank You for the interview and thank you for checking out our new music. Please come and see us, who knows when we will get to come back. We are here for a good time not a long time. Check out our new album "To Rid Myself of Truth" if you haven't already, and we hope to see you in Australia.

TM - Thank you for having this interview with us today we appreciate it
