TM - Hi this is Amelia and Elizabeth from Twinmusix and we are here with Andreas Clark from Self Deception. Thank you for having this interview with us today we appreciate it.
SD - Thank you.
TM - What can fans expect from your Australian tour?
AC - well first of all I am going to be there this time. Last time we had a stand in lead singer and we are going to be bringing a lot of energy, it will be a party.
TM - We love to party.
SD - last time we came, it was a week of partying and it was a good time.
TM - Did you do a Shoei?
SD - yeah, I did actually.
TM - oh, awesome.
SD - I'll have to do it again.
TM - yeah, you do.
TM - What can fans expect from your setlist?
SD - A little bit of everything. We will probably add a couple of new songs. We just brought out a song a week ago so we will have some popular songs in the setlist. We will play some of our personal favourites. You aren't going to get our setlist out of us, so come to the show and see what we play.
TM - How have fans responded to your new song " Time's Up"?
SD - We haven't released anything for a while so it has been fun. You never know what to expect. We have got a lot of love for the single. We have actually written a lot of songs that we have been off tour and we have written them to be good live songs.
TM - What was your writing and recording process for your new music?
SD - We have been on tour a lot and we have been writing while we are on the road. We also have a fifth member that doesn't go out on tour, our drummers Little Brother Nicholas, is our producer. He has been doing a lot from Sweden since we have been away. Our routine normally goes come home from tour, jump in the studio, then go back on tour. We have already started the next album after this album.
TM - Wow, you don't waste any time.
SD - We are not young enough to waste time.
TM - If you could have any band play one of your songs what band would it be, what song would it be and would it be in your style or their style?
SD - I would say Linkin Park 20 years ago, doing a song called "PSYCHO" in their style.
AC - I would like Adele "Hayley's Lullaby" in her style Just to shake it up a bit, that is a very important song to me and I like Adele.
TM - Who was the first band or Artist you saw live and can you tell us a story?
AC - The first concert I went to was Linkin Park because I wanted to see them live. I also went to a lot of festivals.
SD - The first concert I went to was "Prodigy" in 94, it was the first time I was allowed to go without my parents and it was pretty awesome.
TM - Is there anything else you want to say to your fans?
SD - We hope to see everyone at the Australian tour.
