R - Good Thank You, how are you?
TM - I'm good, we cannot wait to have you in Australia.
R - It is going to be good. We can't wait to be in Australia. We were there last year and we had a wonderful time and played so many great shows.
TM - I saw you play last year, you were Awesome.
R - Which show were you at?
TM - Your Sydney show.
R - That was a great show.
TM - It was, I also saw you at Rockfest Barcelona.
R - That was a great festival, we will happily play it again.
TM - It is a great festival, I would love to go back.
TM - You are playing your 'Hail to England' album for your thirty-fifth anniversary, how have fans been responding to it so far?
R - They love the record, it is a great record and it's thirty-five years old. We will play the entire record and other Monowar classics of course. We will also play some Ross The Boss classics.
TM - Can you give us any hints on the setlist?
R - You will hear 'Hail To England' (laughs) except the other classic you will have to wait.
TM - What can fans expect from your meet and greet experience?
R - I like that question. They can pick my brains. They can ask me any questions they want, that aren't that personal. They can ask me about my songs and the bands I have been in. They can ask me about K. K. Downing.
TM - I was about to ask you about K.K. Downing, how was it performing with him at Bloodstock?
R - That was amazing, the whole thing leading up to it, the show was fantastic. We had a great time, it was really good. It was wonderful to see K.K. out there on the stage, I love playing guitar with him and we had a blast together.
TM - It would be sweet if you did a tour together.
R - I don't think he wants to travel.
TM - That's ok, just do a bunch of local shows and we will come to you.
TM - You got inducted into Wackens The Hall of Heavy Metal History, how was that?
R - It was a tremendous honor, I got awarded the medal for Global Metal ambassador for the whole heavy metal history. I said Thank You to everyone, the crowd, the promoters, the club owners and everyone that keep it going.
TM - That is Awesome, congratulations on that.
R - Thank You.
TM - I know you brought out a new album last year, except can we expect a new album anytime soon?
R - We are going to start working on the new album this Saturday, By the time we hit Australia, we might be finished with it.
TM - If you could have any band perform one of your songs, which band would it be, which song would it be and would it be in your style or theirs?
R - That's a good question, I would have Black Sabbath cover one of our songs in their style.
TM - That would be sweet.
R - I could see Tony Iommi grinding out those riffs.
TM - If you could collaborate with any band who would it be and why?
R - Maybe Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Helloween or Saxon.
TM - What's your favorite memory watching someone else perform live, can you tell us a story?
R - My favorite memory is probably watching Jimi Hendrix, when I was a kid, having my head blown off, just not believing what I saw. It was so great.
TM - What advice would you give to any upcoming bands?
R - Get a lawyer to look over any contracts before you sign them. Work your ass off and believe in each other.
TM - Is there anything else you would like to say to your fans?
R - Sure, can't wait to see you guys. We are going to have a great time together and we are going to blow your fucking heads off.
TM - Sounds fun, We cannot wait to have you in Australia. Thank You for the interview today, we appreciate it.
