Twinmusix got to speak to Steve from Pretty Boy Floyd about their upcoming tour and more.

TM - What can fans expect from your Australian shows at Glamfest and can you give us any hints on your setlist?

S -
What can they expect the same and more that bought us success in 1988 on the Sunset Strip. A very loud, action packed Glam Rock show. Well without some of the Pyro. Out set will consist of mostly all the songs off Leather Boyz with Electric Toyz with a couple more thrown in.

TM - You did a tribute album to the KISS album "KISS of Death" can you tell us more about it?

S -
Well the KISS tribute hey its KISS who wouldn't want to do a tribute to them. People really dug it we all picked some of our favorite tuned and had some real PBF fun with it.

TM - Your music got featured in Peace Maker, how did this come about?

S - Peacemaker was awesome. We had Rock n Roll is gonna set the night on fire and I wanna be with You. Also John Cena wore our Leather Boyz shirt in a scene and they showed the record. Hey can't complain about a number 1 HBO series. James Gunn the director really digs the 80s Hair Metal scene.

TM - If you could have any band play one of your songs, what band would it be, what song would it be and would it be in your style or their style?

S -
Hey lots of bands have played our songs its a honor. Well smaller bands but that's awesome.

TM - Do you have any plans for new songs or a new album?

S -
Yes new album is in the works with me and Kris and the boys. Hopefully a 2024 release but fosure a single out this year.

TM - What is your favourite memory of watching someone else perform live, can you tell us a story?

S -
I have a lot of favourite memories of live bands since I grew up at a time when all my favourite bands still had all the original guys. I mean how can I pick seeing Ozzy with Randy the original Van Halen, Motley etc. So many incredible show memories when they were all at the top of their game.

TM - What is the first band you saw live and did they influence you to play music?

S -
My First big band was KISS. I had so many friends growing up playing in backyard bands, garage bands etc and I thought man that's the coolest thing ever. But hey, I saw David Lee etc and was like hey this looks awesome. I have lots of influences from all Ave of the entertainment world.

TM - Is there anything else you would like to say to your fans?

S -
Hey where would we be without the incredible Pretty Boy Floyd fans Worldwide and the numbers keep growing let's just say we aren't going away for a very long time. Keeps getting better. Thank you.
