POSSESSED REVIEW
Possessed played at the Manning bar, and their Death Metal Still Reign Supreme. Bastardizer opened up the night with an Amazing set full our pure metal and the got our motors running for Possessed.
When Possessed hit the stage, it felt like the gates of hell had opened in the best possible way. The lights dropped, the air got thick, and the guitars roared to life, and before anyone could catch their breath the crowd just lost it. Possessed kicked off their set with "The Eyes of Horror, Tribulation and Demon" and from the very first riff it was clear we were in for something brutal.
Front-man Jeff Becerra immediately took command. He has this unstoppable presence and his voice was dripping with venom, and he was feeding off the crowd’s energy. His growls cut through the wall of noise like a demon leading the charge. You could feel the history in his voice, and he brought the set to life.

The set continued with "The Exorcist, Pentagram and Burning in Hell", and the guitars were pure chaos. Daniel Gonzalez and Claudeous Creamer were absolute monsters, and they traded razor-sharp riffs and lightning solos, and it felt like being caught in a storm. Every note screamed with aggression, and when they locked in together, it was like listening to buzzsaws slicing through the air.
The huge bass lines were rumbling, and dark, and the set continued with "Evil Warriors, Seven Churches and Satan's Curse", and Robert Cardenas bass lines made your heart pump out of your chest. He carried the whole set forward, and glued the madness together. Every low-end growl felt like a dark undercurrent, and it kept the songs grounded while the guitars spiralled into chaos. It brought a heavy, gritty sound that makes you want to bang your head until your neck gives out.
As the set continued with "Holy Hell, Twisted Minds and Fallen Angel" Chris Aguirre II, brought pure machine-gun precision to the drum beats, and the blast beats were unreal. The pit turned into a storm of bodies, and everyone was thrashing in rhythm like a single beast. The best moment of the night came when Jeff sang "Death Metal, Graven and Seance", and the crowd went insane. The riffs hit hard, the crowd screamed, and for a few minutes, it felt like time didn’t exist.

By the end of the last song "Swing of the Axe" everyone was wrecked, ears ringing, grinning like maniacs. Jeff thanked the fans with this big grin. Possessed didn’t just play a gig—they summoned something primal.
Possessed still kill it live. They are Heavy, fast, raw, and real metal. The bass shakes your bones, the drums hammer your soul, the riffs melt your face, and Jeff Becerra’s voice still sounds like it crawled straight out of the underworld. If you ever get the chance to see them, don’t miss it.
