TM - Hi, this is Amelia and Elizabeth from Twinmusix, and we are here with Marc from Paleface Swiss. Thank you for having this interview with us today, we appreciate it.
PS - Thank you.
TM - What can fans expect from your Australian tour?
PS - We are going to be playing a lot of songs that we have never played in Australia. I love playing a song for the first time in a new country, it is always exciting. We are going to be playing a bunch of new songs that we haven't played in Australia yet. People can expect a lot of fun, craziness and energy.
TM - What is your favourite song to play live?
PS - I would go with "Everything Is Fine" or "Let Me Sleep".
TM - How have fans responded to your new EP "The Wilted"?
PS - They apparently like it, and it is a little bit different to our other music. We experimented with it, and we tried to make it as interesting as we could. I think people seem to like it. We have barely heard any negative complaints, and the songs go well live, people dance, sing and smile, so it is fun to play them live, and people seem to like them.
TM - What is your favourite song off your new EP "The Wilted"?
PS - "Everything Is Fine".
TM - What was your writing and recording process for your new EP "The Wilted"?
PS - For the first time, we wrote and recorded everything while we were on the road on tour and in between tours. It has been unexpectedly stressful to finish the EP. Everything you hear has been made on the road, not at home, and that was an experience.
TM - Is it different to write on the road than in a studio?
PS - You always have to jump back and forth between songs when you are on the road. When you are in the studio, you can concentrate on one song, and not think about it at the end of the day.
TM - Who Mixed and Mastered the EP "The Wilted"?
PS - "Florent Salfati" from the band "Landmvrks" Mixed the EP, and our sound guy CoCo mastered it.
TM - How did you come up with your Album cover for "The Wilted"?
PS - I wanted to have something beautiful, like flowers. Something good looking and something sad looking. We just met up with our friends and set up a little nice room and took some photos.
TM - How did you come up with your video for "Withering Flower"?
PS - Chris and I filmed some stuff, and I edited it. We made the video ourselves.
TM - It was cool, you are creative.
TM - If you could go back in a time machine and see any band live, who would you see?
PS - I would go back and see Alice in Chains, when they first started.
TM - Do you have any pre-show rituals?
PS - I listen to electronic dance music and techno, and have a good time. I dance, smile, and jump around and get ready for my show.
TM - Who was the first band or Artist you saw live, and can you tell us a story?
PS - Nickelback, they are the best rock band of all time. I loved every second of it, and they have a special place in my heart. I remember my dad gave me a CD, and there were some Nickelback songs on it. My mum bought me tickets for my birthday to Nickelback, and she took me, and she gave me some birthday gifts. We drove an hour and a half to the Nickelback show, and I was amazed and thought, Wow, this is the best day of my life.
TM - Who is your favourite band you have seen live now?
PS - Nothing but Thieves, I have seen them multiple times now.
TM - If you could have any band play one of your songs, what band would you choose, what song would you choose, and would it be in your style or their style?
PS - I would love to hear Slipknot play "Hatred" in their style.
TM - Is there anything else you want to say to your fans?
PS - I want you to come to our shows and leave all the luggage that you carry with you at the show. I want you to get all your emotions out and leave your hate there. Leave whatever bothers you in the room, and walk away with a better feeling.
