NASHVILLE PUSSY REVIEW

Southern rock-n-roll band Nashville Pussy rocked everyone's Monday night at the Crowbar in Sydney! They were supported by Witchskull and Department of Gloom.

First up was Department of Gloom, known for their glam rock sound with the ambience going through the room, full of metal riffs and guitar explosions you knew that the show was going to blow the roof off.

Witchskull was up next a local favourite for the Aussie metal heads with their classic heavy and stoner metal sound, with on stage presence and fast guitar riffs

When Nashville Pussy arrived on stage the crowd went wild. They kicked the night off with Strutting Cook and played each song with an impressive fire and fury that blew the audience away.

They continued to play hits such as Piece of Ass and Wrong Side of a Gun. The crowd was going crazy, cheering and yelling for more, which they got with Gonna Hitchhike Down to Cinch.

The lead singer Blaine introduced the band to the audience, “We are Nashville Pussy baby, we have a song that's an old-fashioned sing along” he then commanded the audience. “I'm going to say come on, come on and your going to say Fuck Yeah!” and the crowd responded accordingly.

In true Nashville Pussy and Aussie style Blaine pulled out an Akubra, poured a beer into it and drank the beer from the hat while the fans cheered for more.

As the crowd was headbanging and rubbing up against each other the band played rub it to death and the crowd went crazy for more.

With Go Home and Die, She Keeps Me Coming and CCKMP up next with amazing guitar riffs and badass bass lines every one couldn't stop rocking, wanting the night to never stop, and it didn’t, Going Down Swinging and Pillbilly Blues with catchy instrumentals and powerful drums filled the venue.

Till The Meat Falls Off The Bone was up next and the crowd went off their chops for this song followed by Why Why Why and Pussies Not A Dirty Word that was packed with Fast paced guitar and Hard rock guitar chords.

The band then play their encore and finished off a rocking night with Keep On Fucking then continued with a cover of Rose tattoos song of Rock and Roll Outlaw and one that would make the crowd Go Mother Fucker Go.

An explosive night with equally explosive bands that will not soon be forgotten by those who went and the neighbours of the venue.
