MEMPHIS MAY FIRE REVIEW

BLESSTHEFALL opened for Memphis May Fire at the Manning Bar, and they warmed up the crowd with a high-energy set that immediately got the room moving. BLESSTHEFALL opened with "You Wear a Crown, But You're No King, Cutthroat and Hollow Bodies" and the band brought a raw intensity that grabbed everyone’s attention. Their guitarist delivered sharp riffs that echoed through the venue while the bass added a heavy punch that you could feel in your chest. The set included their hits "Mallcore, Venom and Promised Ones," and the drummer kept the energy driving forward with fast, tight rhythms, and the vocals carried a mix of aggression and emotion that connected with the crowd instantly. By the time they played "Guys Like You Make Us Look Bad, Wake the Dead, and Hey Baby, Here's That Song You Wanted" the fans near the front were already moshing and screaming along, and they set the perfect atmosphere for the chaos that was about to follow.

The atmosphere inside the venue was electric before Memphis May Fire even stepped on stage. As soon as the lights dropped and the band launched into "Paralysed, Shapeshifter and Bleed Me Dry", the entire crowd at the Manning Bar erupted. From the first breakdown to the final chorus, the band delivered a performance packed with raw energy, emotion, and the kind of intensity that makes live shows unforgettable.

As Frontman Matty Mullins sang "Somebody, Misery and Left for Dead", the incredible live, balancing powerful screams with soaring clean vocals, had the audience singing along all night and turned the venue into a wall of raised hands and crowd surfers.

The set continued with " The Other Side, Infection and Overdose", and the guitar work from Kellen McGregor was massive throughout the set. The riffs hit hard, and the melodic leads cut through perfectly, with a crushing force. Cory Elder's bass playing added a thick layer to the sound that shook the floor beneath the crowd, and Jake Garland's drums thundered through each song with relentless precision, and drove forward with nonstop momentum.

As the band launched into chaos, we got to rock out to "The Sinner, Vices Make Believe, and Love Is War" and the Fans screamed every lyric back at the stage, making it feel less like a concert and more like a shared release of energy between the band and the audience.

Memphis May Fire closed the night with " The Fight Within, Blood & Water and Chaotic" and the crowd was ecstatic, and completely in awe of the concert they had just seen. The show proved exactly why the band continues to be one of the strongest live acts in modern metalcore, and they were passionate, tight, and able to turn every song into a massive moment.
