what can fans expect from your new album?
chaos it's a fusion of all the Styles and genres we like. tons of the death metal music and new metal music, it's for people like ourselves that like a little bit of everything.
who wrote the new self titled album?
it was mostly Sebastian our guitar player, he writes all the backings and I write all the vocals.
who came up with your album cover?
when we were working on the title to track, we felt the band cover should be very organic and natury.
How did you come up with your video for galax?
there was a guy who lives in the northernmost parts of Sweden, we discussed a concept of everything going around in circles, wr wanted the person to feel like he's changed and couldn't Escape because that's what the lyrics talk about.
how did it feel when you got signed with nuclear blast and how did that come about?
it felt amazing they do so much for us, a bit the unreal to be on the roster with so many of your favourite bands. Sebastian our guitar player and songwriter grew up with a guy and since he got signed to nuclear blast and saw how much they had done for him he wanted us to be a signed with nuclear blast as well, a nuclear blast decided they really loved our stuff and wanted to sign us.
If you could have any band play one of your songs which band would and in your style or theirs?
Tool playing any of our songs.
Your album was mastered with Jens Bogren who has also worked with (DIMMU BORGIR, OPETH, PARADISE LOST) what was it like working with him?
I sent him the files and he mastered them and sent them back and they were perfect.
in 2015 you got rid of your first album and re-recorded it in 2016 why did you rerecord it?
We felt like the drums weren't perfect, and the sound wasn't pleasing so we thought we could do it better.
how did you come up with your band name?
before we were called letters of The Colony we were called severed the pain, and we wanted something different that didn't sound like metal, and there was this Swedish song that translates into letters of the colony and we thought it was a cool name.
Anything else you want to announce to your fans ?
