In 1991 Thomas Youngblood and drummer Richard Warner formed Kamelot in Tampa, Florida. In 1994 the band signed a deal with Noise Records, and the released “Eternity” in August. In 1997, drummer Warner and singer Mark Vanderbilt were replaced with Casey Grillo and former Conception singer Khan. The new line-up did an extensive tour of Europe during the fall of the same year, and produced their fourth studio effort, “The Fourth Legacy”.

A few months later the band presented their fifth album entitled Karma. Kamelot followed this up by releasing “Epica” in 2003 and was shortly followed by “The Black Halo”. Kamelots video ‘The Haunting’ and ‘March of Mephisto’ became huge hits on Youtube and furthered their career when they started their own YouTube channel.

In 2007 Kamelot presented themselves more sinister and soulful on Ghost Opera. In 2010 they released “Poetry For The Poisoned”, and it returned to the melodic aspects of their sounds with their new vocalist Tommy Karevik. Their newest album titled “The Shadow Theory” was released this year it truly shows the roots of their sound.
Twinmusix got to speak to "Tommy Karevik" From Kamelot about their Australian tour and more.
