Twinmusix got to speak to Jared Gomes from Hed PE about their upcoming tour and more. 

TM - How has your day been?

JG - It has been a great day here, beautiful weather and I'm doing some interviews. I am glad anyone is interested in talking to me anymore, so you know thank you.

TM - It is our pleasure, Thank You for having this interview with us. What can fans expect from your Australian tour?

 

JG - Here is what fans can expect. Our new album comes out on June 21st so they need to get that and we are bringing that goodness to down under. We are going to be playing you some old s*** and all the hits!. We will be bringing the best rap music, the best reggae, the best EDM, the best punk rock, and the best heavy metal. We are schizophrenic like that!. Bringing all these different styles just to have a party, with all this energy, people leave better than when they showed up.

 

TM - I wish I could be there.

 

JG - You'll be there in spirit though!

 

TM - Yeah! I will I'll be in Europe though so I can't be there.

 

JG - What are you doing in Europe?

 

TM - Hellfest, I love it!

 

JG - That's amazing.

TM - It Is a great festival! You guys should play it one year. 

 

TM - You just released your new single, how have funds responded that?

 

JG - Everyone loves it! Everyone has been reaching out to me telling me that it's fire.

 

TM - What was your writing and recording process for your new album?

JG - lots of ideas were recorded while I was in Europe. I recorded them on my MacBook and a lot of the ideas started 2 years ago. I have been writing on this record for two years. Some stuff was recorded in Detroit Michigan and California and all over the country. All the videos were recorded in Idaho and we mixed it in Burbank. I'm really stoked about this record and there are a lot of good messages and good beats!

TM - If you could have any bands play one of your songs which band would it be which song would it be and would it be in your style or their Style?

JG - Bob Marley and The Wailers doing a reggae version of our song.

TM - If you could collaborate with any artist who would it be and why?

JG - Travis Scott because I love what he's doing with music right now, I would also love to collaborate with Skrillex.

 

TM - What's your favorite memory of watching someone else perform live?

 

JG - When Slipknot we're playing on Ozzfest and I woke up and they were playing almost outside. My tour bus was amazing. I was side of stage for Motley Crue and the original lineup of Black Sabbath.

 

TM - That is Awesome, what amazing shows to be side of stage for. 

TM - What's your favorite memory with your fans?

JG - I have special moments with all my fans. I am dependent on all my fans who help me keep it going.

TM - Is there anything else you'd like to say to your fans?

JG - I would like Australia to follow me on the head PE Instagram and we look forward to seeing everyone at our show!.
