GREG PUCIATO REVIEW

As we walked into Crowbar last night we were ready for four epic bands to hit the stage. We got to watch Mountain Wizard Death Cult, Trace Amount, King Yosef and Greg Puciato play a fantastic show and every band delivered an amazing set.

First up was Mountain Wizard Death Cult, as they opened their set, they delivered crunchy riffs and fast drumming causing a sonically crushing experience that made metal horns fly in the air. As they continued the set there was no denying the impact their bone-crushing and hypnotising Metal had on the mosh pit and they warmed everyone up for the next set.

Next to hit the stage was Trace Amount, the crowd rushed to the front of the barrier and Trace Amount kicked off their set with Processed, Anti Body, No Reality and M3T4PRT3ON3R as the hardcore vocals and brutal lyrics filled the room and this showed you why they were on stage.

As Trace Amount continued with Simulation Fetish, E.I.W.K.U.A., Living Accessory and Anxious the drums created a headbanging beat and the heart-wrenching melodies continued to compel you into the experience.

Next up was King Yosef, as he kicked off his set with Frame, Cascade, The Dull Blade, 110817, Cut the Cord, Power and Shames Mirror the catchy and memorable rolling breakbeats and a throbbing subsonic bass pounded off the walls and the industrial metal gave the room dark, atmospheric elements.

As he continued with Mist of Pain, Pity Case, Auh and Adrienne it made us grateful to witness this relentless, powerful and unforgettable experience.

Next up was the man we had been waiting for, The one and only Greg Puciato, best known as the former lead vocalist for metalcore band the Dillinger Escape Plan. As Greg walked on stage the crowd went wild and he kicked off his set with Force Fed, Reality Spiral, Do You Need Me to Remind You, Absence as a Presence, Fire for Water and Don't Wanna Deal. The range of songs, that are statically different sent the mosh pit into a frenzy.

As Greg continued with No More Lives to Go, Deep Set, Never Wanted That, Lowered and Waves, the Harsh and distorted Frantically pounding drums, Vicious screams, Buzzing guitar tones and infectious hooks showed that Greg Puciato is an amazing musician.

As Greg continued with Creator of God, A Pair of Questions and Evacuation the bouncy and catchy hooks and sing along vocals had everyone singing the lyrics In the mosh pit. The Brutal and methodical Pure Scream Factory with pounding toms and snares grinding riffs and wicked sludge rock stylings were epic.

If you didn't get to see Greg Puciato live, you missed out and you need to see them on their next tour.
