Last night we entered Max Watts for an awesome gig. The show was full of people, and all were adhering to current social distancing laws. We got to rock out with two of Sydney's best bands; Wicked Things and Frankies World Famous House Band.

The show kicked off with a amazing set from Wicked Things. A Sydney bassed band that consists of 4 brothers, a true Rock and Roll show full of energy and punch. You have to see them live to understand how much energy they bring to the stage. I can't wait to see their next show!

Next up was a Tribute to the legendary Eddie Van Halen. Eddie passed away on 6th of October 2020 and we got to watch a tribute to the most iconic guitarists in the world. A man who shaped generations and genres of music. Eddie Van Halen blew our minds.

Last night we got to watch Frankies World Famous House Band, "Featuring Joel McDonald (one of Australia’s most sought after guitarists), and Jordan McDonald (The Art, Mi-Sex), Bobby Poulton, Wolfmother)" smash out Eddie Van Halen tunes. There were special guests for a lot of the songs. We got to rock out to tunes from the David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar eras.

The show kicked off with the best guitar solo of all time ‘Eruption’ and we also got to rock out to songs including: Why Can't This Be Love, You Really Got Me and Panama. The boys made a special appearance with their white undies on stage which made us all laugh.

It was a night full of fun and there was so much energy on the stage. The show finished with Hot For Teacher, which is one of my favourites, with an amazing drum solo at the beginning. This show is an absolute must for any Van Halen, rock or guitar fan and we can't wait to rock out with them sometime soon.
