Twinmusix got to speak to Kyle from Fallujah about their tour and more.

TM - Hi, this is Amelia and Elizabeth from Twinmusix, and we are here with Kyle from Fallujah. Thank you for having this interview with us today. We appreciate it.

FH - Thank you.

TM - What can fans expect from your Australian tour?

FH - We are excited to come back, and this will be the band's third time in Australia. We have released a new album, so we will be playing some of that material live. We have a cool, heavy mixed feel with the band "Obscura", and we are excited.

TM - Can you tell us more about your Setlist?

FH - We have been going between songs on every tour. We have a new drummer, so he is learning a lot of songs at once. We will be going to Japan next, and then the USA and then we will decide what to play in Australia.

TM - What's your favourite song to play live?

FH - I have been in Fallujah for about five years, so there was material written before I joined, and we have written material since. I have enjoyed playing the newest album, I have felt like I have had the most input on it compared to other albums. I am excited to play the new songs, and they are really challenging, and I have a lot of fun playing them.

TM - How have fans responded to your new album "Xenotaph"?

FH - It isn't very different from our old material, but we have tried to push the new album into some different directions. We have been incorporating a lot of clean vocals into the music, and we are trying to keep everything adventurous. I love the new music, and I am a fan of the older music. I think we have tried to enter a new territory with the new music without losing the spirit of what we already have. I think people like it, which is nice. It is always a risk changing the music.

TM - You brought out your album "Xenotaph" on purple vinyl. Can you tell us more about it?

FH - That is the third pressing that we have done on the album, they are mostly sold out in our store and sold out in other places, so we decided to do another pressing.

TM - Who designed your album cover for "Xenotaph"?

FH - An artist called "Peter Mohrbacher", and we have worked with him a couple of times in the past. He does ornate album covers, and he has done three of our album covers.

TM - If you could have any band play one of your songs, what band would it be, what song would it be, and would it be in your style or their style?

FH - I would want the band to do it in their style because anytime I have recreated a song, I have always done it in my style. I would want to see a non-metal band adapt one of our songs somehow. Let's see, Taylor Swift do some of our acoustic "Xenotaph" songs, that would be cool.

TM - Is there anything else you want to say to your fans?

FH - We are excited to come back to Australia and play some songs with Obscura. We hope everyone has checked out our newest album and if you haven't checked out our newest album "Xenotaph", give it a listen.

TM - Thank you for having this interview with us today. We appreciate it.
