CONAN REVIEW
Conan played in Canberra last night with supports Mental Cavity and Bell Witch. The atmosphere was electric and everyone was estatistic that Conan was in Canberra. As I stood at the front of the mosh pit a fan came and spoke to me and told me how excited he was to watch them play.
Mental Cavity kicked off the night with a ripping set and everyone was excited from the word. Next up was Bell Witch and everyone was excited for that, the fans listened so intently and everyone raved about the show. Bell Witch are American doom metal band from Seattle, Washington, United States that were formed in 2010. Dylan Desmond was on Bass and Vocals and Jesse Shreibman Drums and Vocals
Conan are a British doom metal band from Liverpool, England whose style is characterised by a heavily distorted and downtuned sound. The members in the band are Jon Davis on Vocal and Guitars, Johnny King on Drums and Chris Fielding on Bass and Vocals.
Conan played songs from their backlog of music as well as their new studio album "Existential Void Guardian" and the fans loved every minute of it. Conan put on a fantastic show and the night was such a great experience. New friends were made, the conversation between acts about metal and what gigs were coming up were endless and I can guarantee that if you manage to catch one of Conans shows while you are in Australia you won't be disappointed and you will want to watch another one while they are on tour.
