Twinmusix talk to Eddie Guz  From Chrome Division about their new album and more

TM - What can fans expect from your new album One Last Ride?

EG - They can expect a good for rock and roll album.

TM - Nice, are you excited to bring it out?

EG -  I am looking forward to release it,  I think it's a very very cool rock and roll album.

TM - I can't wait to listen to it, I'm sure its a great album.

TM - What was your writing and recording process on One Last Ride?

EG  - To be honest when Shagrath told me he was going to leave the band I said can I sing one song on the album, then  he said why don't you sing the whole album I said sure that would be great. I had about one and a half years to record the album.

TM - That is a good amount of time.

EG - Yeah, you know when I write songs I hear the songs and I write it immediately because I think it makes it sound more alive and thats a good way to go.

TM - I love it how you can just write a song and be happy with it, you must be really talented.

EG - Thank you

TM- what made you decide yeah I'll do the whole album?

EG - When I left the band in 2009 me and Shagrath always remained friends so when I got us to do the final albumi was like yeah I'll do this.

TM - Do you think you will tour your new album?

EG - Yes, we are already planning a tour.

TM- Awesome, do you think you'll come to Australia?

EG - To be honest one of the first dates of booking Australia isn't one of them sorry.

TM - That sucks! We would love to see you over here at some point though!

EG - Hopefully we get to tour there eventually.

TM - What is your favourite festival?

EG - Well there are so many but if you ask me which one i would like to play id like to play Waken Open Air.

TM- That would be Awesome, it is definitely on my bucket list for festivals. You should also have a look at Hellfest.

TM - How did you come up with your Album cover for One Last Ride?

EG -  I think we just got the title one last ride because it is our last ride. We told the designer our album name and he came up with that album cover.

TM - Do you think you will do any more solo work after this album?

EG - I have already done too and I'm working on a third one but I'm not in a hurry. The main thing is to finish up my new album in my main band the carburetors witch has a half Australian drummer.

TM - If you could have any band play one of your songs which band would it be which song and in your style or theirs?

EG - Motorhead doing Im On Fire Tonight.

TM - If you could collaborate with any band who would it be and why?

EG - I would love to do Motorhead but that wouldn't be possible.

TM - unfortunately not, it would of been cool thought!

TM - If you could choose any of your song titles as a biography title for your band what would it be and why?

EG - The Boys From The East or We Drink.

TM - What is  your favourite memory of watching someone else perform live?

EG - I saw Motorhead in Oslo in 2001 and one and it was a really small venue only 1000 people extremely cool.

EG - I have a story about Mickey Dee which is kind of funny.

TM-   Could you tell us the story from meeting Mickey Dee?

EG -  I meet Mickey Dee in Oslo as he was dating an old friend of mine. I didn't know Mickey dee was Swedish, I thought he was an English man so I was talking to him in the English the whole night. When we were leaving he leans over and says to me hey let's go to the Rock bar in Swedish.

TM - That is pretty funny,  what a great story.

TM - Anything else you want to announce to your fans?

EG - Hopefully we'll get to come to Australia next year if you're in Europe definitely come to a show.

TM - We would love to see you in Australia. And i will be in Europe for festival season, so hopefully i will get to catch a show there.
