Twinmusix got to speak to Laura from Burning Witches about their upcoming album and more.

TM - What can fans expect from your new album Dance With The Devil?

L - Our new album has a lot of 80'S metal, like our previous albums. I think our fans will be entertained every new song. It will be a surprise and that is what I like about this album. It is a cool mix of old school recording sounds and new modern metal, it is cool.

TM - What was your writing and recording process for Dance With The Devil?

L - I liked how easy it was to write. Romana wrote the songs and sent it over to me and it was really easy to write with what she sent me. It was really easy to write riffs. They wanted my full input on Wings Of Steel because they knew what I was looking for and then we figured everything in the studio.

TM - How did you come up with your Album cover for Dance With The Devil?

L - We wanted something bigger than life something like old school KISS or Manowar for every album. We have the same great artist Julia, he did a great job. He goes into and depth and I love that.

TM - If you could have any band play one of your songs what band would it be, what song would it be and in your style or their style?

L - I would love to see Charmed Life perform one of our songs in their style but I'm not sure.

TM - What is your favourite memory of watching someone else perform live?

L - When I went to Grasspop in 2015 I was obsessed I didn't want to miss any band on the stage it was so cool.

TM - What is your favourite memory of playing live?

L - I went for my audition as the singer and they said we might keep you but you have to prove yourself. They wanted to be sure that they trusted me. They told me, we are going to play Waken and I had never played there but I had always wanted to. It was a dream come true, we were official openers for the festival and the tent was super crowded. It was my birthday so it was a great day.

When we were playing Waken, Arch Enemy asked me what I wanted to drink and I said a hot chocolate with cream. We were sitting in the bar and they ordered shots for us and they were all cool.

TM - That is Awesome! It is so cool that you got to drink with Arch Enemy.

TM - Is there anything else you want to say to your fans?

L - We have plans for more new music so maybe in the holidays. We will also go to Croatia and make a start for the next album.

TM - Thank You for this interview today. We cannot wait to see you on the road and we are excited for another new album.
