BELL WITCH INTERVIEW
Twinmusix spoke to Dylan and Jesse from Bell Witch about their Australian tour and more.
TM - What can fans expect from your Australian tour?
BW - We are going to play the first half of our album Mirror Reaper. It is our first time down there so most people have probably never seen us.
TM - What are you most looking forward to in Australia?
BW - I am really looking forward to hopefully holding a koala bear.
TM- That is Awesome! Koalas are so cute! Have you heard about Drop Bears?
BW- no, what are they?
TM- They are bears that fall off tree branches and fall onto your head.
BW - Are you serious? That's crazy
TM- Nah, i am only joking (laughs) except you should tell your mates we have them in Australia.
BW- We definitely will.
TM- Are you looking forward to anything else?
BW - we are looking forward to trying foster beers! Every since we saw the add on TV we have wanted to try it.
TM - I'm sure you can try it in Australia. I love how they have all those band beers in Europe with Iron Maiden on it and other bands. I saw the beers in France when i was over at Hellfest.
BW - Hellfest is Amazing, hopefully, we get to play it one day.
TM - You released your new album mirror reaper last year how have fans responded?
BW - Really well, it has been really flattering of the acceptance of it. I think it is a really hard thing to listen to I'm about to go to really cool places all around the world.
TM - What's your favourite place you've been to?
BW - I think the Netherlands and the UK are really cool placesI have been to its so awesome. Russia and Israel was really exciting too, I never thought I would go to those places.
TM- Sweet, I have always wanted to go to Russia, is it safe?
BW- We had someone showing us around and all the tourists areas were safe. We even had a conversation with some of the locals and we had to leave and we felt really bad for leaving.
TM- That is so sweet, I love talking to locals.
TM - If you could play any International Festival in the world what would it be and why?
BW - It would be fun to play at Hellfest.
TM - If you could have any band play one of your song's which band would it be which song would it be and would be in your style there Style?
BW - Godspeed You! Black Emperor or maybe an orchestra.
TM- I would love to see you play with an orchestra.
TM - If you could collaborate with anyone who would it be and why?
BW - John Carpenter or there's a band called Rachel's that is a neoclassical band it would be cool to work with them.
TM - What's your craziest to a story from being on the road?
BW - When you are flying from Israel to Greece they took my pedalboard and took it apart like it was a bomb. Customs won't let my pedalboard through they had to reschedule our show in Greece.
TM - Anything else you want to announce to your fans?
BW - We are very excited to come and tour Australia and New Zealand
