ATREYU INTERVIEW
Twinmusix got to speak to Brandon Saller from Atreyu about there upcoming tour and more.
TM - What can fans expect from your Australian tour?
BS - Fans can expect a lot of enthusiasm. Australia is one of our favourite places to play and it has been a long time since we have come down there. We are all really excited to come to Australia.
TM- What can fans expect from your Setlist?
BS - It is going to be good, it is going to be a little bit of everything and it will be fun for everyone.
TM - Is there anything you are looking forward to doing in Sydney?
BS - We don't really have much time down there, so we are looking forward to playing for our fans.
TM - What can fans expect from your new album?
BS - We in the middle of it and we started writing in January and will finish it in spring.
TM - What can fans expect from your new album?
BS - Madness, a little bit of a riffing and a really good time.
TM - You are working with John Freeman, what's it like working with him and does it affect the way you write?
BS - It is fantastic, he is a ball of energy and super talented. he is really talented, he helps us get in there and create great music. He has been really beneficial to us.
TM - If you could have any band play one of your songs what band would it be, what song would it be and in your style or their style?
BS - I would have Justin Timberlake perform Our Song bleeding mascara.
TM - If you could collaborate with any artists who would it be and why?
BS - I would collaborate with Machine Gun Kelly or Post Malone
TM - What is your favorite memory of watching someone else perform live?
BS - The last time we were in Sydney we were on a boat and then we found out we would get tickets to the Foo Fighters to show, We were an hour late but we still got see 2 hours which was really cool and we saw all the songs we like.
TM - That is cool, the Foo Fighters are fantastic live.
TM - What is your favorite memory of playing live?
BS - We played a show in Australia and there were so many people that our fans were spilling out of the room.
TM - What is your musical influence?
BS - I think my musical influence comes from everywhere, however, our lives are going or panning out at the same time.
TM - Is there anything else you want to say to your fans?
BS - We are really stoked you come back to Australia and we're all going to have a really good time so we hope to see everyone at our shows.
