LETHAL VENDETTA, WITCHERY, THE HAUNTED AND AT THE GATES REVIEW

Four magnificent bands hit the Manning bar in Sydney and it sure was a treat to watch them all play. We got to watch Lethal Vendetta, Witchery, The Haunted and At The Gates destroy it and it let a smile on everyone's face that went to the show.

First up was Lethal Vendetta, a thrash metal band from Sydney and they represented our state insanely well. Lethal Vendetta walked onto the stage and we got to watch Brent Logan (Vocals), Ben Drennan (Rhythm Guitar), Liam Donelan (Lead Guitar), Jay Burnham (Bass Guitar) and Morris Markovic (Drums) put on one hell of a show. Lethal Vendetta Performed songs including "Final Conflict, No Prisoner, No Mercy and Deserve to Die" and they rocked. If you haven't already had the chance to see them live, I recommend catching them at some point.

Next up was Witchery and they continued the night with an outstanding performance. Witchery played songs including "True North FX, Nosferatu, The Storm, Witchkrieg, Lavey Athan, Oath Breaker, Of Blackened Wing, Awaiting The Exorcist, Witch Burner, The Reaper". The fans were headbanging and everyone was excited to see Witchery perform live.

WITCHERY

The Haunted were up next and the set was full of circle pits and a crazy show. We got to watch the haunted play the songs you know and love including "Brute Force, 99, Trespass, The Flood, The Medication, Preachers Of Death, Time (Will Not Heal), Spark, No Compromise, D.O.A., Dark Intentions, Bury Your Dead and Hate Song".

THE HAUNTED

At The Gates concluded the night and what a way to leave the venue. We got to watch At The Gates play "To Drink from the Night Itself, At War with Reality, Slaughter of the Soul, Cold, A Stare Bound in Stone, Circular Ruins,  Death and the Labyrinth, Daggers of Black Haze, Under a Serpent Sun and Mirror Black. This set was full of energy and a relentless crowd that just wanted to keep the party going. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end and At The Gates left us with "The Night Eternal".

At the Gates

If you haven't seen at the gates yet, I recommend going and joining the circle pit at one of their shows. You will have an amazing time will of headbanging and metal. It is definitely a show I will not forget and I encourage you to rock out with Lethal Vendetta, Witchery, The Haunted and At The Gates sometime soon.
