Annisokay Interview
Annisokay a German five-piece melodic rock/metal band that are taking Europe by storm. Annisokay band members are frontman is Dave Grunewald, singer and guitarist Christoph Wieczorek, second guitarist Philipp Kretzschmar, bassist Norbert Rose and drummer Nico Vaeen. The band was founded in 2007 in Halle an der Saale by Christoph and Norbert.
Twinmusix got to talk to Christoph Wieczorek from Annisokay about his new upcoming album and more.
TM- You releasing your new album Arms, what can fans expect from it?
Christopher - It's always exciting when you work on a new album and you release it fans can expect one good album.
TM- What was your writing and recording process for Arms?
Christopher - We have our own studio because I'm a full-time producer so we had the advantage of having everything to record the right stuff. I produced it mixed and mastered that and had everything sound like I wanted. Then we decided to bring in a second producer named Benny from Berlin and we asked him to check out our songs and see if he he could help us make it better so he sat down wrote all the songs on piano and stain some of the songs and I loved all his ideas.
TM- You captured your recording process on Polaroid pictures what inspired to do this and put it in the album cover?
Christopher - We had an idea of putting some 80's elements in the album, one thing from the 80's that kids probably don't even know is Polaroid pictures, so he asked the company to send us to polaroid cameras and we ended up using these in the cover.
TM- that's awesome! Polaroid pictures are really popular now! I would definitely love to see you bring a Polaroid camera to your meet and greets i think it would be great to get a photo with the band with one.
TM - If you could have any band play one of your songs which band would it be which song and in your style or theirs?
Christopher - awesome question by the way, i would pick Limp Bizkit play one of our songs
TM - That's awesome! Yeh its our signature question, i always love hearing musicians answers to the questions
TM - If you had to pick a song title and put it as a biography title for your band what would it be?
Christopher - Whats wrong
TM- Whats your favourite memory of watching someone else play live?
Christopher - I saw tool when I was 17 and it was my first ever concert and the singer was bowling on stage, it was a great experience.
TM- It definitely would be, what a great band to see live, im glad you enjoyed it.
TM - Anything else you want to announce to your fans?
