Twinmusix got to speak to Michael Jagmin from A Skylit Drive about their upcoming tour and more.

TM - Hi this is Amelia and Elizabeth from Twinmusix, and we are here with Michael Jagmin from A Skylit Drive, Thank you for having this interview with us today. We appreciate it.

MJ - Thank you.

TM - What can fans expect from your Australian tour?

MJ - We always try to put on a fun show with lots of variety and lots of surprises. The band as a whole has lots of album so there is a lot of material to choose from. We will try to spread things out across the bands discography. There will be some surprises and we try and put on a fun and energetic performance.

TM - Do you have a favourite song you play live?

MJ - I have a lot of favourite songs from the album so it is hard to pinpoint one song. I have favourites of all the albums.

TM - What's your favourite memory with your fans?

MJ - There have been so many good moments, wherever it is in the United States in one of our VIP sessions were we have the opportunity to sit and chat. When we went to Asia and South America, and even when we have gone to Australia I know I have said it in a couple of our interviews, I love how every city has their own Vibe. One might feel very Americanised, and another might feel very European. Some venues might be in a downtown area, and some other venues might be out in a rural location. There are so many opportunities to meet fans that have been so awesome, it is hard to pick a specific one.

TM - Are there any tourist attractions you want to see while you are in Australia?

MJ - It has been over a decade since we were last there, and we were actually pretty good about sightseeing the last time we were there. I am definitely excited to see everything again and maybe see some new spots. It is always fun to go and see the koalas and kangaroos.

TM - Are you working on any new music?

MJ - That has been a major focus this year, putting together more music. There is a new group of guys with me, and they are talented in their own ways, everyone brings their own fashion to the group. I am excited to give them the opportunity to Shine on new material that has been the major Focus this year. I know the last few years we have been putting out singles but hopefully this year we can put out a full length album.

TM - Who was the first band you saw live and can you tell us a story?

MJ - My first show was Kiss on their Reunion tour when all the original guys got back together and put the makeup back on. That was life-changing, and I knew this was what I wanted to do. I was eleven and my half brother took me to the show. I made my own shirt and did the Gene Simmons makeup, it was a complete life-changing moment for me.

TM - If you could have any band play one of your songs, what band would it be, what song would it be and would it be in your style or their style?

MJ - I have been into the band "Dayseeker" lately, so keeping things current, I would probably get them to sing "Wires...and the Concept of Breathing or All It Takes for Your Dreams to Come True" I would love to hear one of those in a different style that would be fun.

TM - Is there anything else you want to say to your fans?

MJ - I am looking forward to coming back and seeing our fans from 2013 and you fans who didn't have the opportunity to see us. We are excited for our fans to hear our work and our new material.
