Vomit Forth announces USA headlining tour with Upon Stone as support
After releasing their full-length debut, Seething Malevolence, to critical acclaim last year, Northeastern death metal outfit Vomit Forth are starting off 2023 strong, with shows across the USA - including a just-announced headlining tour, following Louisville's LDB Fest. From the band's formation in 2017, Vomit Forth excavated the crypts of their native coast's under rated, yet prodigious death metal ancestry - the sound of Northeast death metal. "There is that specific, Northeastern sound that you hear with bands like Suffocation, Internal Bleeding and Pyrexia," explains vocalist Kane Gelaznik. "There's not too many bands that are doing that. We want to put that East Coast sound back on the map."
The quartet's Century Media debut, Seething Malevolence (2022), is "30 minutes of balls-out brutality" (Blabbermouth), mixed by Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Tomb Mold). As Brooklyn Vegan asserts: "If you like death metal that puts pure sonic assault above everything else, you need 'Seething Malevolence' in your life."
