HOW DO YOUR FANS DESCRIBE YOUR MUSIC?

Energetic, heavy, catchy.

WHAT’S YOUR CRAZIEST FAN STORY?

We don’t really have one yet… Millsy’s mum spams our album pretty hard, but she’s asked us to write her softer songs so she can understand what Justin is saying.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE MOMENT WITH YOUR FANS?

Seeing our most devoted fan Shinoda at almost every gig we have ever played, legitimately the most devoted fan in the Sydney Hardcore scene.

IF YOU COULD PICK ANY MUSIC FESTIVAL TO PERFORM AT IN THE WORLD, WHAT MUSIC FESTIVAL WOULD YOU PICK AND WHY?

Josh & Alex – Download, All the bands we grew up with played there
Justin – JackCloth, the crowds go nuts and the atmosphere is great
Mitch – Ruisrock, it’s the oldest rock and roll festival in the world, that’s awesome!
Chris – Unify, it’s a solid Aussie festival

WHAT BANDS INFLUENCED YOUR STYLE OF MUSIC?

The Plot In You, The Amity Affliction, Architects, A Day to Remember, The Word Alive.

WHAT BRAND INSTRUMENTS DO YOU USE?

LTD Guitars,
Subray Bass
Tama Drums
TRX Cymbals
Fractal AXE FX
Matrix Power - amp
Line6 Pod HD

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE CONCERT MEMORY?

Bald Faced Stag for We May Falls single launch, one of the craziest gigs we’ve ever played.

HOW DID YOUR BAND FORM? AND HOW DID YOU DECIDE WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC YOU WERE GOING TO PLAY?

Justin started the band for a laugh back in 2013 with a bunch of mate. Over time some members left and were incidentally replaced which resulted in the current line-up.

Thematically we didn’t just decide on a specific genre, we just started writing songs that we thought would be fun to play.

HAVE YOU CHANGED ANY MEMBER’S SINCE YOU FIRST STARTED?

Yes, the entire instrumental section has been replaced over time.

HOW DO YOU HANDLE MISTAKES DURING YOUR PERFORMANCE?

Play it off, don’t draw attention to the mistake/situation and try not to let it phase us too much.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOUR BAND SOUND IN THE FUTURE, ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A SIMILAR SOUND OR ARE YOU GOING TO GO IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION?

Our sound is still evolving, we haven’t nailed down a specific sound because we’re still experimenting with everyone’s styles and influences in a lot of ways.

WHAT SUBJECTS DO YOU WRITE ABOUT IN YOUR LYRICS?

Personal experiences, for example with the ‘Lost’ EP, it’s a personal journey, an exploration of one’s self through strengths and weaknesses.

Beginning from the lowest point one can get, we take the listener on a journey through an emotional ascent through self-realisation and loathing, facing harsh truths about their weaknesses and ultimately acceptance and hope for something better for themselves.

WHERE CAN YOUR FANS BUY YOUR MERCH /MUSIC?

At any one of our shows or through our bandcamp page.

DO YOU HAVE ANY UP COMING TOUR DATES?

We have a string of shows coming up, encompassing most of the major cities on the east coast, with more yet to be announced:

April 22nd – Lithgow (Subliminal)
