EBONIVORY

ANNOUNCE TALES OF TERMINA AUSTRALIAN TOUR

"There is something special brewing here. The term ‘next big thing’ may be cheesy but it may just fit here." - The Music

"Seriously I couldn’t hype Ebonivory any more if I tried and nor do I need to because honestly their passion and honesty in the pursuit of their artistic musical endeavours and performances speak louder than any reviewer could."  - Heavy Magazine

Fresh from playing with Circles on their recent The Winter tour, Ballarat alt-progressive metal prodigies, Ebonivory are set to hit the road once again for their first ever headline tour in support of their next single, Tales of Termina.

Frontman Charlie Powlett says of the tour; 'After an incredible reception during the Circles "Winter" Tour, we're ecstatic to hit the road on our own Australian Headline tour and show the nation what we're made of, whilst meeting the fans that make Ebonivory possible! Without the limitations of a 30-minute set we're ready to showcase what Ebonivory is truly all about, including presenting our brand new song 'Tales of Termina'. The song is thematically very close to us as it focuses on the ties that bind us to our everyday lives and how sometimes we feel desperate to break out of the daily cycle and seize our own destiny.'

Ebonivory create an engaging mosaic of raw emotion, complex rhythmic devices, and prismatic melody. Formed in 2014 by prodigious composer, multi-instrumentalist and lead vocalist
Charlie Powlett, this world class 5-piece ensemble employs a unique distillation of alternative rock, progressive metal, post-hardcore and modern punk, delivering a breathtaking performance that unifies musicians, melomaniacs, and casual listeners alike.

From the first EP Ebonivory I (2014), to the full length progressive Australian cult-classic
The Only Constant (2015), to their most recent EP Ebonivory II (2016), Ebonivory has built a reputation in the Australian progressive music scene as an act that consistently delivers music that grows in ambition and scale with each release.

The band recently released their latest single, Patting The Black Dog, which received national airplay and the accompanying music video was praised for its mesmerising production.
