HOW DO YOUR FANS DESCRIBE YOUR MUSIC?
Brutal, powerful, consistent, groovy…
WHAT’S YOUR CRAZIEST FAN STORY?
The gig when we were most impressed by the fans was the one that we gave in Sevilla (Andalucia, Spain): there were guys doing pushups, sincronized with our music’s tempo, while the rest of people were moshing around and crashing against each other. It was sick to see people reacting that way to our show, especially because it was the first time we played there, more than 500km away from home.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE MOMENT WITH YOUR FANS?
When they buy our merch hahaha now seriously: the shows are the moment when a connection takes place between what we’ve been building up with all our passion and the individual idiosyncrasy of each spectator. That’s the real experience, the one that we enjoy the most as musicians: when there is no you or me, but “we”.
IF YOU COULD PICK ANY MUSIC FESTIVAL TO PERFORM AT IN THE WORLD, WHAT MUSIC FESTIVAL WOULD YOU PICK AND WHY?
Hellfest, because it’s one of the biggest European festivals and cause France is stuck to our country! Wacken is also a great option.
WHAT BANDS INFLUENCED YOUR STYLE OF MUSIC?
Pantera, Lamb of God, Exodus, Chimaira, DevilDriver, Hatebreed, Throwdown, Whitechapel...
WHAT BRAND INTERMENTS DO YOU USE?
Guitars: Washburn, Dean. Amps: Randall. Drums: Pdp drums, Paiste, Turkish and Zildjian cymbals, Evans drumheads, Promark drumsticks…
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE CONCERT MEMORY?
The gig in which we played with Corrosion of Conformity in Madrid, when they were touring with Pepper Keenan (former guitarist in Down). It was awesome to share the stage with such a musical reference.
HOW DID YOUR BAND FORM? AND HOW DID YOU DECIDE WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC YOU WERE GOING TO PLAY?
We started at 2009, joining together to play covers from Judas Priest, Scorpions, Megadeth and so on. We quickly changed into a thrash metal/hardcore style; later on, we moved into a more groovy sound when as we began to listen more closely to Pantera, Lamb of God and other 90’s metal bands. When Gabriel joined the band, we were into modern metal influences, putting hardcore, groove metal and some deathcore all together, until we found our own sound. That’s when we released our first EP, “Embrace your fate”, in 2013. Now we’re about to release our new EP, which involves a more groovy, overwhelming and consistent sound.
HAVE YOU CHANGED ANY MEMBER’S SINCE YOU FIRST STARTED?
Well, we’ve never had a long-lasting bassist haha and singers have varied a lot too: we can say that it’s not until Gabriel entered the band that we finally settled up a more stable membership. However, our former guitar player, Adrian, has recently decided to leave the band because of personal issues, and our last bassist has left as well to return to Colombia, his homeland. However, we will announce our new bass player very soon. On the other hand, we may continue our way with just one guitarist, Disi, but we are still thinking about that.
WHO WRITES THE MUSIC IN YOUR BAND OR DO YOU ALL WRITE IT TOGETHER?
The main composer is Rafael, although many times Adrian, Disi and Gabriel have contributed to create the songs.
WHAT SUBJECTS DO YOU WRITE ABOUT IN YOUR MUSIC?
We usually speak about the inner conflict everyone carries within, the contradictions and paradoxes of existence, the abstraction of the relationships in this ultra-digitalized world, nihilism…
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOUR BAND SOUND IN THE FUTURE, ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A SIMILAR SOUND OR ARE YOU GOING TO GO IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION?
As we’ve already said a couple of lines above, our most recent songs are focused on a more groovy and consistent sound, without focusing as much on breakdown-based compositions.
AS WE ARE PROMOTING YOUR BAND, IS THERE ANYTHING COMING UP LIKE ALBUM LAUNCHES OR TOUR DATES YOU WOULD LIKE US TO PROMOTE ON OUR SITE FOR YOU?
Well, we’re about to launch our new EP and we will announce our next concert in Madrid very soon, as well as some other concert dates in other parts of Spain, but we still cannot announce them because they are currently being organized.
However, we do have released an advancement of our forthcoming EP: our song & videoclip “Shut Up”, that you can watch in the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPcvRMrzv0E , so you can make yourself an idea of how our next EP is going to sound.
