CRADLE OF FILTH REVIEW

Cradle of Filth and Hybrid Nightmares played at the Metro Theatre last night and both bands put on a spectacular show as usual. As I walked into the venue, I was excited to see the controversial "Jesus is a Cunt" shirt back on the wall, and I'm sure a lot of people brought one too. We got to watch Cradle of Filth play "Cruelty and the Beast" in its entirety and it was a fantastic album to see performed live.

Hybrid Nightmares opened the night with a brutally epic show! The melodic metal band performed extremely well and had everyone captivated from start to finish. Hybrid Nightmares embraced the stage as we got to watch songs including "Black Heart, Ashes of an Astral Winter and The Obelisk"

Cradle of Filth was up next and as the melodic black metal band took to the stage to deliver heavy music, the crowd went wild! Their sound was incredible, with the occasional blasts and some orchestral and choir additions they performed to perfection.

Cradle of Filth delivered symphonic element that creates a gothic and sometimes creepy environment that we love to see on stage. Dani delivered great vocals, with fantastic pitch. Dani's voice sounded as tight as it has always been. The guitar and bass players played with perfect pitch, smooth riffs and amazing technique and there were amazing solos as well. Lindsay delivered an amazing set like always and her vocals were in perfect pitch.

CRADLE OF FILTH

Cradle of Filth delivered a powerful, fast-paced, atmospheric and melodic set to their fans and it was great to see them back in Australia performing with so much energy and punch. If you haven't seen Cradle of Filth yet, I don't think there is an option here. Grab your tickets now.
